The New Gen Christian Values:

What We Should Be Chasing After

In this fast-paced world filled with distractions and ever-changing trends, it can be challenging for Christians, especially the new generation, to stay grounded in their faith. However, as we navigate through the complexities of modern life, it is crucial to understand the values that should guide us. In this blog, we will explore the scriptures and uncover the valuable pursuits that every New Gen Christian should prioritize.

Pursuing Relationship with God

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33)

In the midst of our busy lives, it is essential to prioritize our relationship with God above all else. By seeking His kingdom and righteousness, we can align ourselves with His will and experience His abundant blessings.

Pursuing Love and Unity

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." (John 13:34)

In a world filled with division and animosity, the new generation of Christians should prioritize love and unity. By loving one another as Christ loved us, we can be a powerful witness to the transformative power of God's love.

Pursuing Holiness

"But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: 'Be holy, because I am holy.'" (1 Peter 1:15-16)

As New Gen Christians, we are called to live holy lives, set apart for God's purposes. By pursuing holiness in our thoughts, words, and actions, we reflect God's character and draw closer to Him.

Pursuing Justice and Mercy

"He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." (Micah 6:8)

In a world marked by injustice and inequality, we are called to pursue justice and extend mercy. By advocating for the marginalized, standing against oppression, and showing compassion to those in need, we fulfill God's requirements.

Pursuing Discipleship and Growth

"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19)

As New Gen Christians, we are entrusted with the responsibility to make disciples of all nations. We should actively pursue opportunities for personal growth and discipleship, equipping ourselves to impact the world with the transformative message of the Gospel.

As the new generation of Christians, we must embrace these core values that align with the teachings of Jesus Christ. By pursuing a strong relationship with God, demonstrating love and unity, seeking holiness, championing justice and mercy, and prioritizing discipleship and growth, we can be agents of positive change in our communities and fulfill our divine calling. Let us chase after these valuable pursuits and leave a lasting impact on the world for the glory of God.
